ABOUT ME
Lianna Gold is an occupational therapist specializing in pediatrics. Since earning her Master of Occupational Therapy from the University of Southern California in 2010, she has practiced in a variety of settings including schools, clinics, rehab hospitals, and in-home treatment sessions. In addition, she has specialized training in the following programs: Learning Without Tears (formerly known as Handwriting Without Tears), The Alert Program, and The Zones of Regulation.
Experienced in evaluating and treating children ages 0-18 with a variety of diagnoses, some of her areas of expertise include developmental delays, autism, dyspraxia, sensory processing disorder, down syndrome, cerebral palsy and specific learning disabilities. Utilizing a variety of treatment approaches including Sensory Integration, Developmental, Cognitive, Biomechanical and Neuro-Developmental Theory (NDT), she tailors every evaluation and treatment session to each child’s specific needs. Lianna believes it is important to provide each child with their “just right challenge” to encourage growth and success. |
